WTLMS EPISODE 27: SHE GOT GAM (e) GEORGIA ANNE MULDROW MUSIC VIDEOS MIXTAPE SALUTE

While WTLMS takes a winter recess from taping another live episode, we retreat to another music video salute with none other than Georgia Anne Muldrow aka Ms. One and Pattie Blingh amongst other alias.

WTLMS has been a fan and follower of her music close to 10 years now. And Ms. One never seizes to amaze us as a one woman trailblazer, with her extraterrestrial funky beats and socially conscious lyrics. Her production runs the gamut of heart-felt truth serum for everyone to hear. Underground music lovers refer to Ms. One as the female Dilla creating her own beats, rhymes & rhythms drenched in melodies with vocals that are a sonic nod to Chaka Khan/Nina Simone/Ella Fitzgerald fusing free form spiritual jazz for the HipHop generation.  She has worked with everyone from Bilal, Erykah Badu, Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def), Sa-Ra Creative to the Jackson Brothers (Oh No and Madlib) as well as her husband-in-crime, Dudley Perkins aka MC Declaime.  So if you’re new to her poetic wisdom, I suggest that you support this indie artist, check GAM’s discography for that soul healing music: SomeOthaShip Music and GAM’s catalogue

In the meantime, open up your third-eye to these gems.

Hotep!
